Personally, I find 3K is a bit much for such a fish. To me, a guy who is not much into Bichirs and such, it looks like a plain old Senegal... I mean, for 3K over here (in Canada) I can get a Premium Quality Golden Head XB. But like I said, I don't know jack about Bichirs.

But I also feel you bro, when you have something for a long time, you tend to get bored with it. But aren't you selling the Tig for 400$? I would keep the Tig, I mean, if you can fork up 3K, 400$ is not that much of a boost on the 3K...
 
I am doubting it's an endlicheri. How many dorsal fins does he have? Looks like 9 in the pic and endlicheri have 11-14...and because of the colour difference on his head (the underside is lighter) I would not buy this fish for 3k. Not a real platinum imo.
