  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Im not very knowlegable when it comes to bichirs but i know some salamander tadpoles have external gills because their water ha very little oxygen. Maybe your water isnt oxygenated enough?

It must be all the radiation coming from your microwave oven! :WHOA:
Get your tank out of your kitchen! :D

IME, they only re-grow them when you water is very well oxygenated, I bet you have a powerhead with a venture feature? (pulls in air through airline tube).

Or you have a bubble disk or something.
