What kind of knife is it? When are you feeding it? What are you feeding? Are you sure its not eating, or do you just not see it coming out to eat when you drop food in?

My black ghost knife eats hikari carnivore pellets at feeding time & I get to watch him do it. My african brown knife eats, certainly...he'd have died many months ago if he wasn't. But I NEVER see him eat, in fact I hardly ever see him at all.

I'm in the same boat as you Raibaman with my p.afer knife not eating. I just got it three days ago, it's about 8 or 9" long with 5 tinfoil barbs, large jag and ngt. It's not being harassed and when I feed everyone it just swims about for a bit then returns to its perching spot. I try and feed it at night but it looks like the tbarbs get the food before my knife does. I may move my knife to my 75g to bulk it up some then return it to my main 210g. Btw you have a nice collection of fish there, what size tank do you have them in?

When you go to feed it, turn off the light and look really hard...you might be able to see it eating (eventually), you also might have to be at least 4 feet away from the aquarium. They usually hunt at night and are more active at night and so when you turn off the lights, they will usually come out to find food. Works for me, right after I drop a couple cubes of brine shrimp and turn off the light, my juvenile clown knife comes out about 5 minutes later and devours them
