why is my mono getting gold spots???

Yeah I cant wait! Just wish I could get him on pellets. His got a ton of markings and killer coloring allready. If he would start taking pellets I bet he would be magnificant. All my boys are on their 3rd day of starvation treatment. Hope they get hungry soon. If not, ive got about 400 rosies gutloaded with Omega one super color in quarantine. My camera is junk, it doesnt show detail worth a damn. But I can post a pic of him. Hes the one on top. The ones beneath are Orinos. If you look closely at the mono, you can see the gold outlining the black markings. This pic was taken a few weeks ago, the gold has gotten alot more bold, very much like the gold surrounding the Orinos markings.
