I have seen it started to chase after small fish, but never has it eaten any of those, i know its kinda interested in those small fish, but it doesnt chase after them, does anyone know whts the problem?

I agree with taylor without more info we really can't help

if you have a "ample" sized tank and good water, correct temp, good "ambush" spots for your SH to use it should be fine, the only thing that I can honestley think of are : what species of snake head is it?
: have you looked at its Poo ? if it is white and
stringy might have parasites
:: it could possibly be that he is still shocked and hasn't adjusted to the tank, or if it is a high traffic area of your house...

Like what was said above need more info to find out for sure what is going on with it.

If possible could you post a pic ?

its a 90ga tank
temp is 26-27 with water cooling with this range
i hve 2 catfish a gar 2 knife fish, and the size of the snakehead is among one of the biggest.

i will upload pics as soon as possible....
it looks perfectly healthy but not eaten so no poo can be seen so far, but also
i think it also like defending its own territory.

What type of snakehead is it?
It could be sub-tropical.
Most likely isn't happy in 90gallons along with other fish such as what your stocking suggests...

***EDIT***

Just saw your post on another thread.
It seems you are keeping this SN in a 90 gallon tank with:

1 . Tiger Shovelnose Catfish
2 . 2x Knife Fish
3 . Marble Pim
4. Gar.

Dude, you need to take a look at your stocking and tank. No wonder the poor SN is petrified, your tank isn't even big enough to house 1 of those fish!

@@ oh.... but i have seen on youtube snakehead can live happily with similar conditions.... i think may be it needs time to use to it? if one month for adjustment would that be normal for some cases..?

Snakeheads are NOT community fish, despite what youtube may suggest.

You need to find homes for those fish quick, that TSN alone will be seriously massive vey very soon...

ok if I did it right that would make the temp 79-80 F
since he hides when people walk by that telssme he is very skittish and possibly stresses him out a bit , I would try to add more hiding places, or if there is already enough cover might want to try turning off the light for longer periods of time and slowly adjust it back .

what kind of feeders are you trying to feed it? with other types of predatory fish I have found that they seem to strike smaller feeders such as guppies, or if you can get a hold of some red wiggler worms they are smaller then nightcrawlers and when they hit the water they tend to roll and twist and have alot of action that will trigger the fish to strike out of instinct, I would even give crickets a try as well.

before I forget its important that you QT your feeder fish for a few weeks just so you know that your feeders are healthy , would hate for anything bad to happen to your SH because it ate sick feeders.

hope this helps you out, looking forward to seeing the pics

O I forgot to ask what size the SH is
if possible list the sizes of the other fish in the tank as well

my SH is about 6" the largest one is the gar about 8" others are around 5"
i think a twisting fat worm could be a great chance to trigger eating action of fish, your idea is possible,

sorry just got one photo atm.... i should get some better pics when i got home.

That is a Channa Asiatica.
It is a SUB TROPICAL fish.
Your water is too warm.

Also this fish should MOST DEFINATLY not be kept with other fish.
Looks to me like it has stress markings on it.

Seriously, your tank is too small for any of these fish on their own, let alone together. IMO it is cruel to keep them like this. Do yourself and the fish a favor, rehome them.
