Why is my paroon shark not dark black in colour?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Don't worry, a change of furniture is not necessary :D, just change the bottom for other darker. Check this out this picture. Do you seem too dark? What's your name, Everlance? I will go to Bayan Lepas in Penang and I will stay there for 3 months "maybe 6 months" in an internship program in early January, it's a shame, I won't go to Aquarama 2013. I'd like to know something about your country. If you want.

haha i'm kenneth. i have never been to aquarama. but looking forward to my 1st time. btw. singapore, well to me, its boring......... maybe its because i grew up here haha...

Could be because it's probably not a paroon shark but an Iridesent Shark which is silver in color. They are both pretty much the same species only one is darker and the other is not.
they are two different species!

Light effects my Paroon and ID sharks, they flush their fins especially when the lighting is darker. If I turn the light on in the middle of the night it only takes 10 minutes for them to go from black to almost translucent. Gravel colour will be a factor too, when the lights are on.

@matt_rs yes i agree with you they become really translucent when the lights are too bright.... but the video that i showed in the thread just before yours, the gravel is sand but the paroons are so dark. any reason to that?
