why is my red devil moving rocks?

I found that usually a female red devil will move rocks in preperation for laying eggs. Mine laid eggs even without a mate.

my red devil like destroyed my setup lol. he plucked out all the plants from the driftwood. and he/she puts rocks in the little hole for the plants.

They do cos they can lol and my pair always like the tank a certain way !! Gotta love em

my Oscars moved a small plant to cover part of their hiding spot, guess they just do it for fun and to enhance their environment, i put them in there new tank but they havent moved the plant yet, oh yeah and its a fake plant

i'm assuming they are marking/creating thier territory.
