Why is my water cloudy white?

Is there something that grows in the water that is like single cell algae, but is white, not green?
I have the biggest HOB filter I xould get and a one liter air driven bio filter.

What are your water parameters for ammonia nitrite and nitrate?

Looks like a bacterial bloom. Is the tank new? Did you just do some major maintenance? Weird that it would just happen out of the blue.

Whats the tank size? What kind of hob filter? How long have you had the air/sponge filter in there?

Agreed, looks like a bacterial bloom. It'll go away with time, in the mean time, just do water changes and clean the filter

Agree with twentyleagues, looks to be a bacterial bloom.
Have you added, subtracted, or done anything differently with the tanker its filtration lately?
Changed media? Radically cleaned media? been over feeding?
But also, algal blooms can be other colors, they necessarily have to be green.
How long are the lights on? Have you changes tank light bulbs?
