Why is my xbox 360 lagging!!

Geez i'm pretty pissed off. Everytime I play COD black ops, my xbox laggs like crazy. What's the cause of this?? Bad internet access or too many people playing the game?
Is it because that my parent are watching a movie (from internet) upstairs while i'm playing xbox downstairs??

When does the lag stop?? how can i make this end? LOL. It sarted lagging yesterday at night. Has anyone experienced lagging while playing right now?

Could be the streaming of the movie your parents are watching. That takes up a lot of bandwidth. I had to upgrade my internet because of the same exact reason.
