Why is photoshop so expensive?

I use paint shop pro. It has some great features and is fairly easy to use. It's $80 but worth it.

Adobe Photoshop CS3 is amazing...So much easier to use then CS2.

But yes, you guys hit it on the head, business make a huge profit off of this software so it wouldn't make sense to charge a little amount for it.

Yep, CS3 Extended rocks! I use Photoshop everyday at work so I can't imagine using anything else. But I agree, it is a very expensive program.
