Why is this fish changing?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Nothing. The female will beat him up and stress him out even more. It's not going to speed up the fading process.

The last picture was him with the female. It would not upload. You are right Jimmy when I took the female back out his color changed back but he did show his true colors to try to impress her even after he tucked his fins and ran. he put on a show at first but was over matched. The point was to show he is a fader not sick or stressed.

I think it did not change color to impress the female... as far as ive observed, FH colors becomes intensely nice when their in rage or tries to be dominant with other fish. you can try it through mirroring techniques.. in this case your male tried to be more dominant than your female, but it did not go well for the male... well as you say its not stressed then its not... :D

I just read the thread...well i guess it was a fader lol...it took about 5 months to fade to this point might still fade a lil more....on some of the pics it was showing some stress bars thats prolly y they were saying it was stressed out...nice
