why is this happening?

Is this a low light or high light tank? Lilies will not do well with air trapped underneath. If it is low light, add some surface agitation.
its high light....well...is 2.2 watts per gallon considered high?....and about surface agitation...i pointed the outlet of the filter upward towards the surface...its been like that long before the lilly even had leaves....I am so confused...could it be that even though I grew leaves in the tank...could it still be possibly shedding off leaves to further adjust to the water conditions?
