Why ive been missing... (Not for the Squeamish)

Oh man I know your pain and I hope for a swift recovery. The bite of a brown recluse is no joke. Last year I was bitten on my neck by one in the shed and it was one of the most agonizing pains I ever had. Not to mention nasty and I thought it was going to leave a huge hole in my neck as well as a huge scar. It's healed really nicely now and the scar isn't that noticeable.

I was only joking about suing Disney...I was thinking no one noticed that post lol.
 
I came to this thread late. I will be praying for your speedy recovery. I understand what you mean by better it was you rather than one of your girls as a parent we would always rather take the pain then see one of our kids suffer. You have my utmost respect for that statement. Take care of yourself and get well soon.

Thank you all for your caring. I still have an open hole but no more packing. Still had some puss and necrotic tissue come out yesterday. Looked like chunks you would scrape of a used BBQ grill. :barf: but im feeling better and aside from the area right aroun the hole dont have much pain that is not controllable. Worst part was when they pulled out the 2ft of gauze out of a raw open wound. It felt horrible. And FYI when they ask are you ready? And you say no they do it anyways.

As for the disney issue. I was in Hollywood studios and i did write them a letter and have yet to hear back. We will see. I dont ask for much at least a "im sorry that happened to you letter" would suffice.

x2 get well soon... I got bit by something nasty(never id'd)or maybe a scorpion sting.....and that was 2 weeks of no fun.. can't imagine what the ol' recluse would be like:(...I am sure you will be fine in the long run.. keep thinking good thoughts:)
