Why L 24s have 8 points?

So if the adipose fin has colors on it it would be a 9pters? Lol
Interesting I never knew they were called 8 Pointers actually. Nice L number though.
Put some lipstick on each of the barbels and it could be an 11pt.
This is my Karma the L24. Her tail it counts as two point? I dont even do the point system with her. Never thought about those "points" this was taken with natural light on in the room and there is no working LED light on this current tank she is in.

your L24s coloring are stunning regardless of the point system I even dont do it with mine. Always thought i4 was 5 point or 7 point when buying them those days I just look at individuals and love them all. L114s throw alot of different colorings in their spines too. Do you have any pictures of then when they were much smaller to see how much of a difference it is vs them now.
The tail as a whole is NoT a pointer.
The tail has 2 pointers.
