Why letting goldfish go wild is a bad idea: They become giant pests

Glad I could make someone laugh with my terrible Australian slang. :D

And as for how much it costs me to keep my fish, that's part of the reason my blood boils when I get people on here telling me to just "look on Craig's list" for a 6ft tank... Second hand a 6'x2'x2' would probably cost about $1500 - and I would consider that cheap... I think we do well for people on a low income to keep our fish the way we do. :)
I love Aussie slang and just yal's accent in general. I made one of my good friends drag her mom, who is from new Zealand, into work just so she could talk to me haha.

Well...damn...I feel like I'm going to buy a bunch of second hand tanks, and ship them to AU to sell....that turn around alone would cover the freight...

Oh gosh! Please don't tell me you think we sound like the kiwis? They say "fush and chups" while we say "fish and chips" haha

Fair enough. I guess its no different from me thinking you guys sound similar to Canadians. :P

I love to see various slang terms and expressions in different languages,I also like the sound of some languages as they are spoken.Lol not to sound Canadian but my apology for the derail.

My fish are fine. Accents are cool but derailing lol.

I kinda stunted my goldfish since i was a noon when i got them and didn't look after them well

not counting fish, since choice of fish in Oz is extremely limited from what i saw, but even aquatic plants cost a bomb...

I remember there was a plant that over here they practically give away, yet in Oz were charging like $10 or $15 Aussie dollars a stem...

It was at that point i realized owning a dog is cheaper than fish over there...
