Why no Stickys?

Why are there not any stickies for this forum?

I understand the puffer forum has a lot of info covered...

But there could at least be some information of tank size and fish size of the monster's...Fahaka's, Mbu's, Porcs, maybe some Arothons? Maybe even those cow fish?

I have not been a member here for long, but I have been a reader for a long time, and quite frankly, I am tired of people trying to talk down the size of MBUs or people asking if they make a fahaka fit into the tank they have available. (No offense meant to current posters)

All the other forums have stickies that relate to their monsters!

I am not asking for large articles...

Maybe just one page that shows tank size, fish size, environment, substrate and that sort of thing..Maybe even just a chart

Just curious...
 
If there are a few puffer keepers who are willing to contribute the much needed information (without being biased), then certainly, those may have merit to be sticky threads.

It's hard to explain. I'll give this a shot.

I meant that in some ways, the author is somehow narrowminded that all the information he has, are based on his own beliefs rather than actual facts and norm. Is this clear enough?

No if you have permission from the authors and the site owner. Usually, we encourage sharing information without having to redirect the members to other sites where they are told to read instead of here.
 
Difficult to imagine that kind of bias in fish keeping, but I am sure like anywhere it can exist.

What I meant by adaptation of information from the puffer forum, is to use information from the puffer forum, along with other sources as references. Cited properly and if it is not implied, asking for permission.
 
It could work. You could collaborate with Jenny (Pufferpunk) to work on the sticky threads since she is a puffer goddess here.:D
