I love all Snakeheads (Channidae) over the years I have had them from large and uncoloured and vicious to small and pretty. There is something for every one with them and I think they all have a unique characters. I love the killer fish storeys when I reed them. They are far more than killers they are survivors I have know whole tanks to turn and people come back and fined one survivor heaters go off filers stop but they carry on. I just think they are a great fish and will hopefully be keeping them still in years to come.

because they are beautiful and they are misunderstood ..not all channas are the mindless killing machine people think they are rather they are just great survivors with superior survival instincts...

I like how my gachua doesnt back down to me when im near the tank staring at it closely. Plus his face is cute from the front, it looks like a constant sad face. Mini-monster he is lollllll

Iono, but I do know something, I hate everyone who owns one because they are really big meanies who like to show off to everyone that they have one.... really big, ugly..... NOT, just kidding. Snakeheads are by far one of the most beautiful and unique species of fish ever! To me, they're like over grown bettas. Who wouldn't want that? And their coloration is just so uniquely patterned and they're vorocious predators. :D

:)
I think people like to keep the kind of fish when it become expensive and rare in their location.

I used to live in Viet Nam, Thailand, China, Laos, other Asia countries for awhile. Especially in VietNam, I think only a few in millions people keep snakeheads in aquarium there because snakeheads are only used for food, trust me, they taste good, I tried already.

Snakehead there are cheap also, you can purchase a big 20 inches snakehead in VietNam for maximum 7 USD.

That's my opinion and what I have seen and known.
