Yeah when it gets to much no one will buy it so you end up paying to house it until 6"+ when people will be more interested in paying over $100 for it.
They are not bred in Asia yet. If they were the cost would be down to silver levels. If they are there is only one farm doing it. They do get imported to Asia first then to here.

I've seen 8" ones on sale in UK for £200 , going rate atm is about £120/150 , even 4" ones are around £100

Woah! Yeah I noticed a several years ago they were way cheeper almost non comparable prices. That was when I didn't Have the space for one. Now I do and the price is up, funny how that works out lol.
