Why the **** won't they listen to me?

I agree with your parents!!! You sound like a selfish spoiled little brat!!! You complain because your family wants to take a trip for 2 weeks of your 6 week vacation.......your reasoning, because you want to stay home because you have to go to school for 40 weeks a year. Just a guess, but I assume your parents have jobs??? And I'm sure they have to work all year round. They don't get Summers/Christmas breaks/Spring Breaks off??? And all they are asking for is a 2 week vacation!!! :screwy: And I'm sure they don't have a good reason for not letting you stay home by yourself, cuz I know you are a great kid and all. :liar:
 
Yea, sucks being a KID!!! Your parents deserve the vacation, don't screw theirs up by making everything about you. And man, its gotta be tough to spend two weeks on a nice sunny beach with women and water everywhere. Feel sorry that they want you to do that. Be the man you want to be and go back and tell your mom you are sorry and that you do want to spend the time with family. Believe me, later in life you will cherish every moment with your parents and sibs and look back at the good times fondly.
 
I hate to be negative, but your parents deserve a vacation. The kid world and adult world are totally different. Believe me adult world isnt about school-free, they have to work for get money to pay bills, and they work hard to raise you and your sibling. You always have free time at your age but in future you will understand why your parents want have a vacation.

There are no such as stress free in adult world, they will always being stressed out, thats what the vacation for. But I understand why your complaining but still your parents deserved that vacation and family together.
 
no offense man, but i feel bad for your parents that they raised such a selfish spoiled brat. you should be grateful. i wish my parents would have had the money to take me to the beach for two weeks when i was a kid. we didnt get no vacations. no 2 week trips to the beach. we were lucky to have a roof over our head and food on the table.

if they could take us to the store on the weekend and buy us a toy, we were happy, and lucky. hopefully when you get older you realize what good parents you have, and maybe youll appreciate everything they do or did for you. right now your just young, sheltered, and ignorant - we all were. but once you get older, youll change the way you look at things. trust me, we were all the same as kids. listen to what older people have to say. they speak from experience because they were in the same boat.
 
Liam it is time for you to grow up... look at your parents and show your love... appreciate that you have two loving parents... just think i am sure they would have a better time if they did not have to worry about you... instead they include you in because they want you close... so they can watch over you... your so blessed and you don't even realize it...
 
Liam, please stop complaining about your parents, at least in a public forum. It is an ugly thing to do.
