Tried to post a link but I forgot I'm still too new. woops.

anyways I was looking for a tank that would be good for a green terror and I found a guy selling a 180 gallon, here's what it said:

180 gallon reef ready tank. All glass. Sump, 4 sets of 7" socks. 1480 gph pump, also included is an ATO system. Ehiem 300 watt heater, another 300 watt heater. Stand. Sand substrate, large amount of holey rock. 2 large pieces of driftwood. 2 72" beamswork led lights. Beamswork LED 1W 6500K HI Lumen Aquarium Light Freshwater Plant (DHL 72 6500K)
I will include all livestock. 2 Large oscars, both over 10". A large banded leparanus, large lace cat. One large channel cat. 2 large Bala sharks. 2 10+" plecos. The rest is full of cichlids. At least 45-50. 5 parrots I believe, two of which are king Kong, one south Texas cichlid, a dozen or so convicts, doz or so yellow labs, doz or so OB cichlids and some other misc. If you do not wish to have the fish included, I will need enough time from your purchase to move the fish to another home/pet store as I will not flush them.

Look at the stocking! I'm just baffled that he's kept them alive long enough, and has seemingly taken care of their looks, because all those big fish in one 180 should look like zombies.

I personally would want to see the aquarium in person most of the stock could be rehomed the Oscars probably would be the hardest to get rid of. Also price did the seller mention that?

$450 for the whole setup + fish. I'd buy it and rehome every fish in there it if I had the money.

I did read that that tank can even house 3 oscars, but that and nothing else.

The only thing save the fish you may not need is the 2nd 72in light. But all the other stuff you need to make the tank run. It's a sump system so will be more difficult to move, have to most of the time cut the sump lines and replace when you set it back up. It's not as easy as hobs or canisters to set up and get running.

I would hate to see the TDS value of this tank. If you are planning to sell the fish, you should slowly acclimate them to your tap water prior to selling.

you think anyone would want to buy a sump system?

I wonder how bad the oscar's HITH is.

I know about the whole acclimation before selling part. but thank you for the reminder!

I sure you could sell it sooner or later, thing is the tank may be drilled so would have to plug the holes. Sumps are better due to all the extra water volume it gives your system. Just more complex to set up

Here's the sump, just in case you were wondering.

That don't look too bad actually, I was more referring to the ones that are all hard piped/glued in place. That looks like it has disconnects at least.
