Why wont they breed?

If you have all those fish in this tank, none of them are going to be able to successfully breed. Your rams may have already paired up and bred, but all cichlids, especially some of the more aggressive and larger types that you have, will eat any eggs laid, and should some eggs hatch, will eat all fry.
Bolivian rams taking care of fry would be completely defenseless against these large, aggressive fish.

I have a group of german blues. I'm pretty sure I have 4 females and 1 male... so far nothing. I'm hopeful too though. I just think they might need more time.
make sure to have driftwood , and soft acidic water.
I set up a 55 gallon , put their filter on the new tank and put them in the tank and they layed eggs that night. the eggs never hatched because fungus grew on them due to poor water circulation in that area of the tank. try putting some java moss or christmas moss (what I used) because they layed the eggs in the moss , maybe thinking it would shelter the eggs.

I agree that the severum and firemouth can become aggressive. But right now they are juveniles and not large enough or feirce enough to beat out a ram for its fry or its eggs. Rams especially Bolivian are actually pretty tough when defending their clutches. the angelfish's i could see being an issue. And my festivum is very mild-mannered and always backs down in a territory dispute. In the case I do ever see some eggs or fry I would seperate them. But that occasion has not arrised. I may just try seperating a pair like suggested. Hopefully somethin will happen.

Where did you get your rams from? I heard some "commercially" bred rams are juiced up and look nice, but won't breed. See if you can get some from a reliable source.
I used to have a pair of Bolivians from my lfs that never bred. Then I got two pairs of German Blue Rams from Ken Davis (fishfarm) that were bred locally, and they spawned in the same tank on the same day every week. Never saved any eggs but that's my fault.
