Some things guys who don't keep gar/ keep them in mixed tanks never get to enjoy:popcorn:

I plan on keeping a few as soon as I can house them properly. I know where to get some nice ones too.

could anyone tell me what is the minimum tank size for a gar to live happily? im planin to keep one but not sure if my 5ft tank would be large enough..thanks!
