LOL, you might want to re-read what I wrote.

well you obviously edited it right after i said that, and then figured out how to make it not say edited in order to make me look stupid.

T1karmann, 90% of fish in the hobby today are all man-made to some extent. man has commercially bred, selectively bred, cross bred, ect. to make most of the fish we see today. so are you wanting us to only buy wild caught fish? no that would be rediculous and would also be playing god by taking animals that are ment to be in rivers and streams and putting them where we see fit, not to mention the great damage it would do to the fish populations.

almost any way you slice it we are playing 'god' by keeping fish.

now this is off topic, so lets get back on topic and end this thread which is just going to keep repeating itself over and over.

there is more then one place to post about a certain fish, and people use their own judgement to decide where they are going to get the best information.

ex. of threads that coincide:

bottom dweller / other monsters
bottom dweller / native
native / catfish
native / other monsters
native / hybrid
catfish / hybrid
cichlid / hybrid
gars / hybrid


there are dozens of topics you could come up with that could go on multiple sub forums. people use their judgement to decide which one is best. get over it, if you don't wanna read about catfish hybrids, nobody is holding a gun to your head and telling you read this thread or else i'm going to pull the trigger.

they are totaly diffrent named catfish which makes it wrong IMO

2 rays breeding is no diffrent to 2 people from diffrent countrys breeding their is nothing wrong with it

all thease hybrid cat owners think they are better than the other hybrid owners and they should be put along side real catfish

what i do hate is looking in the catfish forum and seeing 10 threads just about hybrid cats if they were in the hybrid forum were they belong then we wouldnt need to even look at them

What? A cat/dog cross is impossable. Cats and dogs belong to different families. Redtails and TSN belong to the same.

You have an odd point of view. Two rays if they are different species don't make the same animal. If they are sub-species or local variants then they are just as bad as a cross species hybrid and still ruin unique gene pools. If they are bred in captivity they are no more natural then a cross species hybrid. Most anti-hybrids would agree with me on that.

diffrent latin name diffrent fish like cat and dog

I think T1K is just in hybrid denile, has been like this sinse he found out his P-14 male is a hybrid this making the two pups hybrid also.
