Depends on there mood sometimes there bar completely fades away. Sometimes there head turn black. You can see this in this video

Mine don't change 1 is dark the other 5 are always faded.... And do all wide bar blue hooks get that pinkish red around the bar?.... Mine don't have any of it
Just the ones from Peru get the slight red that seems to come from behind the bar on the upper back area. I seen some the get red behind the gill and throat area. I believe there are at least 3 types of wide bar dollars that collected in different areas. Then the Thin Bars I believe is a completely different type of Myleus even though they have the same scientific name as the Wide bar type. Maybe someday someone will re-classify them..
I hope the color comes out on my guys any specific diet to help bringing out the wide bar more ?
