We are not a bunch of salesman. You should figure out what you want. You are ask the wrong question. If you want a Dat, get a bigger tank. And not asking us what do we recommend. I recommend tiger scats for your crappy dimension tank, but you can't afford them. Otherwise, go get some discus and anglefish, but then you are going to whine about they're not cool enough for you and the tread continues.......

Whoa, Scorponok...you're going to work yourself into a frenzy over there...lol. :D

I agree with what you're saying though. ea2248, ultimately it's your tank so you have to decide what fish you like. Like Scorponok mentioned...this thread will never end because someone may not like a fish someone else recommends.

There are a few questions you have to answer for yourself before you do anything:

What is your budget (Everything...tank, food, chemicals, fish)
Are you willing to upgrade?
Do you want a fish that can stay in a small tank for life?
What kind of maintenance schedule are you willing to commit to?
Do you want a community tank or a specimen tank?

You could start dats out in that tank without any problems, but an upgrade is in your future...GUARANTEED.

Once you decide on a fish that catches your fancy and your willing to commit to, do as much reasearch as possible, because when you show you have done your homework and are a serious ]V[onster Fish Keeper it will be much easier for everyone on the forum.

Best of luck.

ea2248, I know you're mad but if a MOD sees these posts, you could get yourself banned. I agree...that comment was out of line, but don't let it get to you to the point where you're going to be kicked off the forum.

Well I will admit that reading this forum as made my day at work a bit more entertaining lol

If i offended anyone, I apologyze!

I just wouldn't want to see your membership that short lived.:D

So, did you decide what you are doing with the tank? Dats will be fine in there for a while...they are a very slow growing fish.

If you do pick up some dats, don't forget to post pictures...especially if you drop the $$ for an ST.
