Located in 91307. I've never shipped, but will not rule it out entirely depending on the interest.

Wide Bar Datnoid - 9-10", feeds on market shrimp and a couple feeders once a month, $300.

Crenicichla Strigata 'Redback' variant, 12-13", feeds on market shrimp and again, the odd feeder - $100. Currently runs the show in the tank, but doesn't kill wantonly, though he/she is the only pike. I'm having a tough time getting a picture of him as well, so I'll show one horrible pic that displays the redback, and another clearer shot of the head with what appears to me as scratches from diving in underneath the driftwood and not HITH, but I have to include that anyway.

Caquetaia Myersi - Two, unsexed, both approximately 5" in length and feeding on FBW and the occasional feeder. It's cool to watch them extend their "false basketmouths", which create a little vortex to suck in prey. This action is too quick for my camera to capture. Jeff Rapps is currently selling specimens this size for $100 - I'm asking $70 each. I'm having a tough time getting a pic that does them justice - they're a bright gold with blue fins.

Are the C. myersi wild? If so, would you happen to know the collection localle? They look quite a bit different than mine.

I do know what you mean about how hard it is to get a good photo of them.

Widebar is sold!

Regarding the C. Myersi, I don't have a clue about the collection site. I'm going to try to get a better picture if at all possible. What's different about yours, if you don't mind me asking?

This is the best I could do...they just aren't cooperative. At the very least, it does display the blue in the fins that I was talking about.

Yours have more red in the face while mine have more green. Yours also have more "sparkling" along the flanks. Hopefully mine get some more color, as they're only half grown.

Plow,

You might want to hold on to those myersi because they are going to colorup really nice once they hit about 6 to 7". ;)
