Seems like the consensus is to go with 8'. Lol. Your critters look great! I would think 4x4 would easily hold your weight. Just don't slip!!! If you're worried about it pick an 8' one up and span it across to concrete blocks and jump on it till your hearts content. I'm sure it will be just fine. Keep us updated when you start your build. We love pics!!!

I'm not clear on your dimensions, but if I'm seeing this right.. 20feet long.. I would think about 2 8foot windows. Obviously one super long one would be better but that would definitely be a special order window and would be expensive for sure. I would steer you away from having huge blind spots too. You might regret them once you're done.
Only reason (in my brain) for having the blind spots is I want to make sure there is plenty of strength. I'm afraid of not having ( enough length of wood) on each side of the window
