Did you go with a completely submersible heater? I used one in my saltwater sump, but never in such a large tank. I am not sure if its beneficial to go submersed or not.

Hey sorry for the suuuper long delay in responding.... I use fully submersible. One in the sump, and one in the corner of the main tank, behind the durso, with a piece of egg crate seperating it from my Fahaka.
