wierd poly behavior

my endli's do that all the time too haha.

I know this is an old thread, but I got freaked out this morning! I wake up to find my Delhezi nowhere in site in its tank! I immediately search all the corners, under the couches, along the baseboards, everywhere!
My brother asks me, "Maybe it buried itself." and I reply, "That's impossible, no one ever said anything about that."
After about 30 minutes of searching he says, "I found it.". He points to the BLACK gravel in my tank, and sure enough there is a little delhezi mouth and eyes! I was so relieved.
I never thought he would do that, but hey why not?
