Wife and live feeding...

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I feel spoiled over here. I get my wife and kids into the feeder thing with me. :grinno: My 3 and 5 year old boys love watching the big fish hunt for the little ones. What you need to do is let her pick some monster fish that need feeders too.

My wife lets me make up my own budget too. Long as I don't go do something crazy like spend $500 in 1 shot without letting her know, she lets me buy whatever I like.

You could always ask her to run to the store to pick up something and scoop a few feeders out while she's gone. :naughty:

Edit: Make sure she takes the kids with her. Don't need them snitching on you when she gets back.

Wife got all teary eyes with the mouse, SHE WOULD'T LET ME THROW IT IN... I'm sneaking my bichir in her tank TONIGHT!!! WHAT WHAT I BOUGHT THEM!

Hahah. I can hear Charlton Heston's voice saying: "And thus the land of Guppy shall be laid waste, having angered the one true God, and there will be much rejoicing throughout the stomach of Bichir."

Amen. :grinno:

She feels compelled to save the creatures because she watches it happen. If she doesn't see the animals being eaten (this is just how females work, trust me), she will care a lot less about the fact that it's happening. It's not the principle that the animal dies that bothers her. She'll say it is, but it's not. What bothers her is that she sees it. Do it when she's gone to take advantage of this gender difference. She will notice, and she will complain at first, but after approximately two weeks the female in your life will realize it's just going to happen. And because she isn't having the emotional fire of seeing them die burning, she'll permit it. And don't forget to be extra nice during this training session, it's a holistic practice after all. ;)

LMAO - sounds funny when u say it out loud xD. Really hope u tape the bichir decimating those guppies... if i were you i'd go catch a decent sized largemouth and put him in there, let em eat everything and then go let it back in the lake and when the wife gets home act like nothing happened :P

Even though she read my post to you, it will still work. It's hardwired.
