My hero's eggs are turning into wigglers...how long should I expect until they become free swimmers?

It take about 3 or 4 days. I've got a new batch of rotkeils that just start free swimming today.

yeah about 4-6 days or so :) congrats, any pics of the little ones? parents?

3-6 days from wrigglers to freeswimming.

it somewhat depends on water temperature... they metabolize faster in warmer water...

3~4 days as eggs and 3~4 days as wigglers is what I expect in 80~82*F water...

Sorry for slacking on the pics...I've been busy and a bit sick.
They're still wiggling but look less active today.
I'm still hoping free swimmers for my birthday present in 2 days :nilly:

From my experience, it takes about 5-7 days after hatching before they consume most of their egg sack and are physically able to be free swimming.......

It seems to me almost like some of the wigglers are disappearing...or is this just because the bulk of their mass (egg sacks) is going away?

I think this is closer to being correct
