Wigglers missing?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
If you have gravel they love to hide in there i had some that i did not know breeded and sucked some into a filter when i was cleaning the rocks and had to get them out

Yeah I have been dying to clean the tank, but it's just those two in there, and they don't seem to want to be bothered. I think the lack of predators makes the Jag feel like he needs to defend the nest from me. I'll wait to vac the gravel until I can get a visual on the fry.

DEAD! ALL DEAD! I suck, couldn't find one fry yesterday morning after seeing them for about a week. I moved the fish to different tanks so I guess I'll have to wait for them to give it another go. (I thoroughly checked the gravel too, which is something I plan on removing if I ever decide to breed something again.)

sometimes they are eaten by dad... if under stress both parents can and will do this.

Sorry to hear about your babies. This happened with my convicts first batch and after I thought they were all eaten, I found a few a couple days later. Really great at hiding.
