The WII sounds like it might be a really cool system , However I am still worried about the controller, I am worried it may just be a novelty and will eventualy fade away and just go back to relying on gimmicky games(red steel?) and than badly needing to go back to the more standard gameplay ? I haven't played it yet so I will stay open about it, but I wasn't really into the N64 or the Gamecube either so I hope that the WII is the system that gets me back into Nintendo. Actually , the DS is the thing that brought me back already and it feels good to play all those Mario and Zelda type classic characters again, the stylus isn't my favorite method of control but the DS has so many fun gamepad control games that it doesn't really matter. I guess I am just not really into the "new" gimmick type of controls yet? I really want to play the WII and see how it goes? It is still too soon to really judge the systems yet anyway so I will wait and see, I do like the progress being made and the trying new things is a cool way for Nintendo to go, I admit that I started with the 8 and 16 bit systems then I have stayed strictly PS ever since but I am still open minded about all the systems and their games, but Sony is really losing me with the price of the PS3 making it pretty unaffordable for a game system by trying to shove Blu-Ray down our throats. I am yet to be wowed by the 360, but having been out about a year some really good games should be on the way soon, The WII looks like the best system for me at the moment because of the classic characters, download play and I appreciate the Launch price !
