Actually, wikipedia is correct. It states they are wild. Aesop was confused because wikipedia was contradicting what he thought.

Also, it says that the minimum tank size for Arowana is 450 gallons, which is much better advice than you will find elsewhere.

Yea, I was under the impression that they were a captive only species. I don't mind being wrong, as long as I figure out what the correct answer is.

And yea, I agree that the 450 gallon tank suggestion is on the money.
