Wild Caught Ex-Cichlasoma Ornatum

I am thining that you have two males, I agree with nolagt, the male have more blue speckles in the cheek area, both of your look like they have an abundance of speckles... Of course I could be wrong, hopefully I am, eithere way you have several more, so you will find a pair I am sure 
Nice looking Ornatums Mines are about the same size as yours, I believe that I have two males and one female. Ornatums are very nice cichlids, I am crazy about mines, I am sure you feel the same way. Please keep us posted

thanks guys i vented the so called female again and im still frustrated
I dont usually have this much trouble venting fish especially at their size. the funny thing was the genitals werent pronounced and it didnt look like either male or female yet. it looked more like a U than a V which makes me think female but it was really close to the same size as the anus which makes me think male.... and its not swollen or sticking out enough for me to tell yet. So it may be a male. and im mostly goin off of behavior now. because if it was a female i think i would get a better response from the with the divider pulled. they kind of remind me of my Location X umbees when i got them. the known male has his genitals sticking out and he was very easy to vent lol
Hmmm... I dunno, some fish are just easier to vent than others. Ill look thru my other group tomorrow and look for a female
