my smaller pairs 5-8" I have in just 10 gal tanks for breeding...the larger jags from 9-12" or so I have in 40 gal BDR tanks...also a large group in a 265 in a colony...this helps me distinguish males/females as they will pair up...when they do I remove them and move the confirmed pair to their own little love shack

In the first post, 6th pic, where the jag is flaring those gills - I'd never noticed the markings on the gills look like eyes - wicked photo!
