The Araguaia version stays smaller and they have solid faces while the Parana ones tend to develop some pattern on the cheeks. They also grow to 7 - 8".

These and Abalios are my favorite now! Worth the money. Good choice. if you ever breed them ship me some growouts haha.

Yes, I have two groups of wilds. One is from Rio Parana and one is from Araguaia.
