Wild Caught Kelberi with weird eyes, possible buy.

Hey guys, I just got offered a nice big wild caught kelberi. Only thing is its got some weird eyes. It eats fine and everything just the eyes are a little weird. Heres a pic, tell me what you think.



I can get him for $125 if I get him this weekend. Would you?

Nope, I wouldn't.

1. Eyes like that freak me out
2. This fella used to have normal eyes until the owner decides to spoil the water, fish ends up with an eye infection and becomes like that when the infection hits the pupil, high chance its blind on that eye.
3. Yes, its a defect.

Ya looks like Petes old fish that he basically brought back from the dead. I'd offer the seller under 100. Tell him that he's been sick and needs nourishment and there's a good chance that hell die.

I'd buy it under 100. Put him in a tank by himself and keep the water very clean and plump him up. Imo its worth it if hes a WC kel

Any way I could reverse this defect? The fish is in good condition other then the eye btw.

Are both eyes damaged? Wouldnt get him if he was blind... Thats just me though.. That pupil looks awfully small i hope its still functioning.. Chances are slim from that eye to recover..
