what roads are you fishing near?

But, if you want to keep your spot secret, I understand... LOL

It really isn't a big deal to me, they're everywhere.

I live in the Country Walk area, in a Neighborhood called Deerwood, (Literally, across the street from Metro zoo.).

There's a few lakes as well as some canals in this neighborhood FILLED with nice fish. I've seen plenty of Large Pleco, Carp, Peacock Bass, Midas, Catfish, some Tilapia looking fish, etc.

These fish aren't limited to my area alone. I've seen them in the canals around MDC in the Kendall area too, and I'm sure there are more areas. Me and my friends have even caught foot long spotted Gar out of those canals.

Hey btw guys.

Since he's a wild caught fish, I realized he was going to be difficult to ween onto pellets and food like that.

I caught him using bread as bait and that's pretty much all he'll eat, but I'm sure that's not the healthiest thing for him, nor for my tank. For now, I'm feeding him balled up pieces of bread with pellets hidden inside.

What's a good way to get him onto the normal stuff? Or am I already on the right track?

sounds good for now, but you might try some chopped shrimp. once he gets used to food falling from the sky, Im sure he'll eat anything.

I caught a large jaguar, that would only eat live food for a month... he's on pellets now.

Nice catch. Being in NY, it is only a dream for me to be able to walk on down and fish out some nice tropicals.
