Look at those spangles coming in. Ill get pics of mine today mine are eating massivore and tilapia. Ever since I started feeding a lot more massivore the reds have really come out on my bass.
Forgot to add they are pushing 6" now and bahias the biggest is 5". How are yours growing? Also I need to try to get my cichla on massivore or some type of pellet but I've always feed my fish some type of meaty foods.Mainly tilapia and cut bait fish soaked in vitachem or nourish.I should have kept at it with my Bahia...at one point they were hitting blackworm pellets but spit them out. Must not have been to hard getting yours on massivore.

Well My Bahia and 1 tocantin willingly take massivore the other 2 take it and spit it out. Even when I stuff the tilapia they some how eat the tilapia and spit the massivore out. I need to buy some vitachem though because mine I can see mine are starting develop spangles but it looks to me like yours have a bit more at this stage maybe due to the vitachem. Mine are all sitting around the 6 inch range as well. They are definitely growing faster then my Bahia.

Do you notice any difference between using vitachem vs. using nourish?

Both I believe are good. I have used nourish way more than vitachem reason is because it's so much easier for me to get in my area. I have noticed that vitachem seems to soak in a little better the times I have used.

Man these pics make me miss my old ones. Looking good guys, keep it up.

One of my Kelberi that I got from Wes looks like these guys. Could mind be a Rio Tocantis too? Someone mentioned before that it was a hybrid. Now I'm really confused.

You feeding them live or silversides?
