Wild caught

i would say you could call them wild ethically if you mention where you caught them(down the street lol).

Might explain, I think that mine are the best stock there are. A female that would apear avarage to me would be awwed and owwed at by others.

You are missing the point of wild caught fish. Its not that the wild caught fish are always better looking though sometimes they are, its that they have genetics that have survived in the wild, under that natural conditions that the the fish is native to. Your really big or brightly colored or whatever makes your convict better in your eyes does not necessarily transfer in to a fish that would be naturally selected.

Even if they look nice, it would be dishonest to call them "wild caught", F1, F2, etc. based on generations of these feral fish if you were to sell them as that. When people see "F1", they expect them to be the first generation from true wild caught parents

If I bought a fish labeled as "F1" only to later learn I was sold the offspring of feral fish I would feel cheated and would be sure to tell the seller I feel cheated asking for a full refund... and would openly share with others that the seller should not be trusted...

There are different words to describe different situations for a reason... using the wrong word for a situation to make something look better is very manipulative...

I am not accusing you of being dishonest or manipulative... I am instead sharing how I would feel if someone were...

I read this thread as you simply asking a question looking for an answer, not attempting to manipulate...
