wild crayfish

i caught a wild crayfish at the lake this weekend. he climbed right up my fishing line to eat the bait. he's around 3in. long, so i put him in my feeder tank. seemed to be doing ok for the first day, now he's acting kinda sluggish. do they require any special treatment?

just let him get use to his new home for a lil bit then see

hiding spots like rocks that they can crawl under and cold water

cold water, hiding places, an a airstone. I remember when I was younger I put a fwe crays from a river in a 10 gal a neglected a airstone, an the poor bastards were dead the next day.

they dont need much, i toss in a grape for mine, and thats about it, he eats what the fish doesnt get, and they leave each other alone

I feed mine beefheart since I have so much of it right now.
