Yhe it is , a month ago in maintenance of my guava tree I cutted it , I am gonna leave it 4-5 months so that it completely dry out and all organic matter gone

Don't put it in your fish tank!

That is not drift wood.

You want to find a piece of very old wood, preferably hard wood. Something that has been cut off or fallen off many decades ago, so that anything that would have rotted away is already gone.
