Well around here at lake murray the largest lake near my hometown they have a few baitstores that charge about 6$ a dozen 2 inch long minnows. So they arent too cheap around here.
And about the legal issues.. Im an idiot for not researching the laws. wasnt planning on catching like 300 minnows.
Are all Natural fish caught in the wild assumed to be full of parasites and diseases? They are quite healthy(it seems). Caught in a large flooded river. They started eating for me after 12 hours or as soon as i attempted to feed. I would expect thats a good sign they are healthy but im sure theres more to it.
Oh and i dont see these minnows costing that much to maintain.. 60 - 80 dollars annually...maybe...
