Yes these were bought from Dan as wild Rio tumbes this spring. Do you want another pair;)?

No thank you. I am trying the grow out idea myself. I have a buddy that has 25 or so and myself, I have 18. Still may pick up a few from Umbeeking if still available.

u should have told me u were selling em -.- Id have bought em

Would like to get a couple of yours also. If still available. :) Sorry Jason, dont mean to derail your post. :)

LOL no biggie but i bought the rest of Umbeekings and Cacichlids:) i also have a pair and a trio all unrelated coming into my mix very soon, all high quality and not in circulation. so im hoping to spawn and build my own strain:)

Cacichlid- theyre still available bro:)

LOL yeah maybe but I dont like breeding siblings. I want nothing but healthy Genetics in fish room and i will do my best on spreading those genes around:)

I don't have space :/ I tried putting the Umbee with the festae female in the 120 and she beat him up to pieces overnight... almost killed him. Had to put him back in the 150 and as you know he won't accept tank mates lol

Then my pond broke and drained so I've been trying to repair the liner but can't find the damn leak... so my living room is full of plastic containers with all the fish and plants from the pond. Lost hundreds of feeder guppies and some baby crayfish as well:swear:

If you still have em when I finally repair all this mess I'll buy em for sure...

Damn Bro!! that sux. good luck. i wonder how your pond broke?? hmm if you do get them i can send you some General babies too;) and then you can just put all the umbees in the same tank LOL theyll find order eventually and at a low cost to you. anyway, about the pair.. I am not in a hurry to sell, ive had a few offers and people are trying to talk me down but like i said im in no hurry and i have plenty of room for them so i dont feel like budging on the price right now LOL I know Dan was selling his large wild caught for around the mid hundreds which is technically what your paying for a piece for this pair plus theyre already bonded and have been fed really good:)

I suspect it broke because I drained it to catch a Salvini breeding pair the other day... had to take out all the rocks. Then I just threw all the huge ass sharp rocks back in (instead of placing em one by one) and refilled... lmao. stupid, i know. now I might have to waste money and a full weekend changing the whole liner.

I think $300 is a good price for a festae pair. wild caught, adults and bonded. you won't get a high quality pair anywhere for less than that.

Thank you and im sure you learned your lesson about throwing rocks in the pond now eh;) definitely costly. hopefully it wont take ya too long to get it wrapped up
