I got them from a member on here NOLAPETE about 2 years ago I guess. They were already spawning. I dont recall where he got them from but he got them at about 4" I think.
 
That's the plan. I never shipped but I'm going to try it and see how it goes. Send me a pm...that's how I'm keeping track.

your pair was imported by Dan Woodland of Ohio who also imported the male in the attached photo. Both strains are of the highest quality. 2nd to none.

Ahh yes I think that's the guy. I never can remember what Pete said. I just know they are awesome fish and Pete needed to get rid of them :d
 
New spawn hatched today...took some new pics of the parents. No flash...female was staying tucked up in her pot most of the time.

There is a line if I ever sell this pair...but I dont think thats ever going to happen lol. I will be selling the fry tho...and trying to ship this time.

They are panting becasue they have been lip locking since I got to work and have not stopped. Its a little different than the other 2 times...the lip locking usually came on after the fry were swimming for a while. He is not fully barred up either...dont know what the deal is this time.

if you decide to sell and ship the fry please keep me in mind, i have not seen festae in my area at all.
