I have these. I lost my male last year. They get more blue. A couple of member on here have seen them. Cool fish. Rember me.

This is what my wild caught male festae looks like (only mine is smaller)

My female doesn't look like yours though, but red like most.

I'll post it IF they ever breed. I'm afraid I will have to wait a little longer until she matures more. She did start displaying for him a little but still not pulling the trigger.

mine turns that color when he is not in breeding mode. but recently killed the female. He is now by him self always looking like the pics youve posted. I thought it was normal. Right now I'm raising his fry.

They look nice, but I'm with Darthv, as my male is rather green too. Your female is interesting though, but seems to be just washed out. Do you keep them on sand or some other light colored substrate?
