We recently recieved a shipment of breeder size L-059 that I decided to keep for myself. I housed all 12 fish in a 40 gallon for 2 months and then set them up in trios between 4 seprate 20 gallon longs. I didnt spend anytime trying to spawn them yet. I just placed them in the tanks and threw a few of ZCLIFF'S caves in their, some tile and driftwood and one tank spawned with in 2 days. It was so unexpected! I seen the one 6" male inside the cave during feeding and noticed he kicked 4-5 eggs out while fanning them. I then took off the lid to the cave and collected the eggs. After they all hatched their were 114 fry. I will keep everyone up to date as they progress.
