Thank you brotha for making these bad boys available! Now I just need to spawn this pair;)

Whenever your ready bro, hit us up and we'll try to hook you up.

Thank you very much:)

Thank you Chuck, and this guy was originally supposed to be a female lol.

Thank you, I am very thankful to have this beautiful beast.

Thank you Anthony, this guy is only gonna get bigger;) and yes Chris brought these guys back when they were about an inch or two.

Thank you Jason. And hopefully one day you will be able to.have one of these guys or maybe his offspring with the Z female:)

O that that would be Awesome!!!, I am going to be doing an update on my big guy in a couple more months, I think you will really like Sgt. Rock / he is a beast of a fish and full of Umbee Attitude! at 6 inches I had to move him away from my 15 inch oscar!( he is pushing 11 inches now ) he would run her all around their tank... one day he was an easy going fish and then one day he flipped the switch LOL I am going to have to make me some heavy deviders like yours

Love how he has the blue/green sheen under his blue freckles on his cheek, it kind of reminds me of the sheen on my istlanums. I have always been a big fan of the rio magdalena's but these location X umbee's are stunning! Props to you for the care of this specimen and props to Chris for introducing these beauties

Thank you, and I really like that sheen he has. it has been coming in more and more as he grows, hes had that sheen since he was 6" but it wasnt as apparent.

Wait, why would you breed two umbee from two different and distinct collection points?

Well for a few reasons, First being that pairing and breeding fish isnt an easy feat let alone try to pair up a large adult male Umbee. Some large males are big time lovers and are easy to pair off, others are just plain killers. This guy seems to be the lover type, thank god.. lol whereas Monster X is almost at killer status.

Second, I have been thru a few so-called location X females and they have turned out to be males:( Monster X killed the last one. and this male was supposed to be the first female lol. I havent seen one female from this location, nothing but males... Umbeeking says he has found one female!! so Since shipping is really expensive to get fish up here nonetheless large enough females, ive decided that i cant afford to keep shipping umbees up here that turn out to be male. So I am sending Monster X to my Good Friend Umbeeking!! And Chris will be able to have the Monster and work on pairing him out.

Third, I had a Z female sent my way because of the female X shortage. I put the Z female with this male and the so-called x female with monster. and in the three months of growing them out together Xtreme and the Z female paired out and the so-called x female turned out to be male and got thru the divider which was destroyed by monster X. So since i already paired out Xtreme and the Z female i decided to leave them.

Fourth, Chris and i are trying to come up with our own combination of Umbee. I will spawn these two and breed the offspring either back to monster X and then to one of my General Fry or right to my General fry.

Cant wait to see the updates bro!! good luck:)

wow... beautiful

Thank you brotha:)

He's looking very nice. The only thing I have not seen on any of the Umbee Chris has brought back from the two locations you all have are the trailers you see in the Rio Mags. I thought the plan the whole time was that you were going to send some back......he said you were holding one with the understanding that you would give it back........in one of his old post?

Yes, I was going to send this male back but since I've had all the troubles with finding a female for monster x I decided to keep this guy since I already had them paired. So I'm sending monster x to Chris:) good eye on the trailors. I've kinda noticed that too, there not as long but monster x's trailors are very nice. This guy had nice trailors but him and the female tend to get rough at times and his trailors get shortened because of it lol. It's also another reason I'm breeding these two locations together is to get the colors and freckles then combine it with a Rio mag to get the profile and trailors. Hopefully achieving a really nice fish either way:)

Either way there all nice. Even on his monster X or Z or whatever it is there are no trailers......not saying one look is better then the other just a difference I have noticed. The Rio Mags. I see have very long trailers.......these collection points seem to resemble a "common" trailer. Does anyone know why trailers are present in some fish from certain collection points?

Beautiful! ! Always nice to see for back in the hobby!

Yes either way they are all nice, and it gives people different options as far as which look people like. I still have alot of fry left from the General and i am growing a few out seperately to find a keeper to carry on his dad's genetics. I dont know about the trailor thing?? i was looking back at my videos and even 5star at 6" had longer trailors than these guys do at 10"+ LOL

Beautiful! ! Always nice to see for back in the hobby!

Thank you
