"Wild morph" Petenia splendida - morphing

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I'd place the random chances of this occurring in wild stock at approximately the same as two wild zonatum throwing calico babies...

Just sayin...

Matt

Well the red form is found naturally in the wild...so some wild fish do undergo the change. I just don't know the percentages. 1%? 10%? So far I've just noticed it in the one, so if the other three stay wild type I'm fine with that. I'll be calling him Friday, I've got school and work back to back to back to back until then, unless he is available at 11:30 eastern time?

Man, you guys are a tough crowd! I'd be pissed about that as well. Modest_Man, I have many 2" of the wild morph, and trust me, they are the real thing. I still have the adult pair. I could possibly have a friend ship some out if you are interested. This is the difference between a fish you can buy at Petsmart and one you can only get online that was EXTREMELY rare until the last 2 years or so so I get the frustration.

How much for 4 of them to 97071?

I talked to the vendor and they're willing to refund me the money for the fish. I said I'd wait a while and see if the other three change. The one is pretty yellow now.
